Mario Addison is an American football defensive end for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Troy University. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2011. After being cut and spending time as a reserve for the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins, Addison was signed by the Carolina Panthers, playing on their defensive line for eight seasons before signing with Buffalo in 2020.

Mario, a native of Birmingham, AL, was raised in public housing and dealt with different types of adversities and was able to overcome those with the love of football.
